GOLF for MISSIONS!!
Friday, June 15

MSBC will be having a golf tournament at the Knoxville Municipal Golf Course to help raise money for Summer and Fall mission trips. The tournament will start at 12:00 pm with lunch, followed by a shotgun start at 1:30 pm. The cost is $75.00 per player. Be getting your "four men team" together and contact Michael Swisher or Missions Pastor Michael Stooksbury for additional information.
MSBC needs YOU!!
If you have a specialty (computer, nursing, teacher, electronics, handyperson, construction, etc) Your church and God needs you. If you would like to donate any of your time and skills to the God's church and your extended family, please ask. There is always a need for YOU at Main Street.
Sunday mornings from 9:30 - 9:45 am the Sanctuary becomes an even more special place of prayer. Pew Pray'ers' are needed for each pew in the sanctuary, choir, and balcony. This time is set aside for Main Street family to pray for each other, those who are going to be sitting in those seats and those who are usually sitting in those seats and are going to be absent that morning. Each person offers a special prayer that morning to our Lord for their family and friends; for their circumstances and events occurring in their lives; for their health, safety, and upcoming week.
Prayer is the tiny nerve that moves God's mighty hand....
Walk Through Bethlehem

An amazing filled TWO DAY extravaganza that will take you back to when Jesus was given to us by His Father, God. 'Walk where Jesus walked.' 'Talk with those who talked with Jesus.' 'Be where Jesus was born and came to save the earth as His Father wrote and willed.' 'Smell what He saw. See what He saw. Live (even for just an hour or so) as Jesus lived.'
Exciting things happen during this time and everyone meets a new friend and experiences a memorable occurence that will never be forgotten. If you'd like to volunteer or get more information, please contact Linda Dyer or the church office.
MSBC Children's Church
starting Sunday, April 1
This is a new program for kids ages kindergarten through 3rd grade. It will be held in the Family Life Center. It will be a praise and worship time geared toward our younger church kids. We hope that you will allow your children to participate in this exciting new adventure. We appreciate your prayers as we step out, in faith, on this new endeavor. If you are interested in helping out in any aspect please contact Brad or Emily Bullock.

"Breaking the Grip Through Grace"
starting Thursday, Feb. 23rd @ 6:00 pm
This is a weekly Bible Study and new support group. It will be specifically addressing the issue of being in the grip of addictions. You are urged to inform anyone who is having addiction problems to attend. For more information, please call Johnny at 297-7858. Brochures are also located in the back foyer.
The Resolution Revolution for Women!
starting Tuesday, March 20th @ 6:30 pm
It's a new 14 week Bible study designed to help all women, wives, and mothers become more "God-Centered" in their homes. The title of the study is The Resolution for Women, by Priscilla Shirer, which goes along with the movie - "Courageous". Please contact Gail Murphy @ 599-9188 or call the church office if you are interested. The cost is $10.00 for the workbook. If there is a need and Gail knows about it in advance, childcare will be provided. Starting March 20th @ 6:30 pm. Come join us!!! (July 1st)
Soup Kitchen Ministry
Wednesdays mornngs (weekly)
11:00 am - 12:30 pm
Not only do the residents of Lake City (and surrounding cities) enjoy a warm meal, they also get the opportunity to learn more about Christ and how He can be a part of their lives. Meals are also served to those who are unable to make it to the church.
Please don't forget to send desserts.
